At Inkworks Studio in Auckland, we know that effective scar and stretch mark revision isn't just about what we use – it's about how ingredients work inside the skin. As a paramedical tattoo artist, I carefully select the right serum for your unique skin and scar / stretch mark type.
We use two primary repairing serums for Inkless Scar Revision (ISR): Nue Regen and Artemis Formula .03 for Scar and Stretch Mark Revision.

Both are tattooed into the skin during ISR treatments, but each has a distinct action.
Nue Conceal Regen: Stabilise & Strengthen Scar and Stretch Mark Revision
Key ingredient profile:
Hyaluronic acid – boosts hydration and plumpness
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – supports barrier health and helps regulate pigment
Collagen peptides & amino acids – provide building blocks for collagen and tissue repair
What these ingredients do together:
Help your skin heal more evenly and “organise” new collagen in a smoother way
Support hydration and barrier strength, so the area feels more supple and less fragile
Help reduce the look of fine lines, grooves and mild textural changes
Assist in calming and balancing pigment response, especially useful in darker skin tones
Best suited to:
Stretch marks (tummy, hips, thighs, breasts, bum)
Surgical scars that are textured, slightly indented or slightly raised
Earlier‑stage or moderate scars and stretch marks where we want to smooth, soften and support the area
“A hydrating, collagen‑support serum that helps your skin heal more evenly and feel smoother.”

Artemis Formula.03: Rebuild & Refine Scar and Stretch Mark Revision
Key ingredient profile :
Growth factors (EGF + FGF) – signal the skin to make more collagen and elastin
Multi‑peptide complex – “messenger” molecules that talk to repair cells
Vitamin E – antioxidant support and barrier protection
Hyaluronic acid – hydration and support.
What these ingredients do together:
Drive a stronger regenerative response in mature or stubborn scar tissue
Help firm and tighten areas that feel slack, ropy, or thickened
Gradually refine texture and tone so scars and stretch marks blend more smoothly with surrounding skin
Support deeper structural change over time, rather than just surface smoothing
Best suited to:
Stubborn, long‑standing scars and stretch marks
Areas where we want to push deeper remodelling and firmness
Clients wanting a non‑pigment, purely restorative approach
Later‑stage revision, once the skin barrier is already stable and tolerates more active repair
“A growth‑factor and peptide‑rich serum that helps older or stubborn scars rebuild, firm up and remodel over time.”

Choosing the Scar and Stretch Mark Revision Serum for Your Skin
Your treatment plan is always bespoke. We assess:
Healing stage and overall skin health
Scar or stretch mark age
Fitzpatrick tone and pigment activity
Previous treatment results and recovery response
Both serums are powerful tools in our clinic. Sometimes, we even alternate them to balance Scar and Stretch Mark Revision repair and regeneration.
Our goal is always the same: safe, intelligent remodelling that strengthens the skin from within, leading to confidence restoration.
Whether you're interested in inkless scar revision, stretch mark camouflage, Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), or Nue Strand™ for hair loss, we're here to guide you.
